Where to install the TL1000 ?

We recommend installing it near the left windshield pillar on the driver’s side.

This will simplify access to press the button and this also provide maximum satellite signal at the same time.

If you are in a location where sunlight can cause high temperatures beyond the maximum temperature variations of the unit,

( Australia and South Africa ) you can place it out of the sun’s reach, while making sure you can reach the button safely to record the type of trips you are making.
