There are three type of password you may encounter using the TripLogik Manager.
- Password for the support site ( site where you can gat assistance)
- Password for your TripLogik Manager software Account ( password used to ID your Map account)
- Password inside your instrument (optional password to encrypt data inside your device)

Change your support site login password
If you need to change the password for your support site login
1- Go to the support site login page https://triplogik.freshdesk.com/en/support/login/new
2- Enter the email you used to login
3- Click on Forgot your password
5- Follow the instruction to reset your password or change it
Change Manager application Password
To change the password of your TripLogik Manager subscription ( in the software)
1- Open the Manager application
2- Click on the Users menu
3- Select the user
4- Change the password
5- Click Save
How to change the instrument password
WARNING
If you decide to change the password instead of restoring it, it will delete all data stored in the instrument.
Important note
With version 2.0 of the Manager, it is no longer necessary to use an instrument password.
As the instrument cannot be saved to more than one account, it is not possible to extract the data by anyone other than you.
Following password recovery and synchronization,
We suggest you replace the password with the instrument serial number. (Be careful to use capital letters and use all 16 characters). CAUTION, this will erase all internal data in the instrument, only do this once your data is safe in the Manager application.
How to change the password
- Open the Manager
- Plug in the instrument
- Click on the Settings Menu and select the instrument tab
- Click on Change the instrument password
- Read the warning. Ensure you did a proper sync before, as all trips inside the instrument will be deleted.
Change the password and ensure you take note of it.
