EXPLANATION ON HOW THE MANAGER ACCOUNT WORKS
When you install the Manager on your PC for the first time, it will automatically create your client account on the TripLogik Map server. This account contains your name, email, all invoices for the services and a list of all your instruments that are added to your Manager application.
When an instrument is added into your Manager, it is automatically added and assigned to your client account on our server.
The Manager application uses your email as your account ID
What happens most of the time
You reinstall the Manager on a new PC or a second PC and don’t reuse the same user name you originally used to open your account for the first time.
For the TripLogik Map server, this is a new account.
When you try to add your instrument, the Map server will tell you you can't add this instrument to this new account because it already belongs to another account.
WHY
1- The server obviously has no way to know you already have an account under a different email.
2- This system prevents anyone from taking your instrument, without your knowledge, and read its content using another account.
WHAT TO DO
If this is your instrument , most likely you registered the Manager with the wrong account.
If you mistakenly open a new account, you can use the "Fresh Start" instructions in the link below.
This procedure incudes a way to retrieve the email you originally used if you don't remember it.

NOTE :
Uninstalling the Manager and reinstalling it it again will not work as the instrument is registered in the server.
What happens if you purchase or sell an instrument
If you purchase or are given a used instrument, or is it you want to sell your instrument.
Since this instrument is used and already registered to someone else, it needs to be unregistered first.
If you create a new account in the Manager application, and try to add an instrument already registered to someone else, you will get the error message letting you know the instrument is already registered.
What can you do?
The seller needs to open his Manager application and go into the instrument menu,
1- Go into the instruments menu
2- Select the serial number of the instrument from the list
3- Click delete the instrument button then YES, and OK
This will remove the instrument from his account.
If the person doesn't have the Manager application anymore, what can I do?
Ask this person to open a ticket to contact us and provide us with the information below.
- The email linked to his TripLogik Map account.
- The instrument serial number of the instruments to be removed from his account.
- The name and email of the person that will be the new owner
We will confirm with the original owner that the instrument is really being transferred to a new user and
release it from the original account to be added to a new one.
WARNING, if you of the sellers rely on TripLogik to make an investigation with no cooperation as described above. TripLogik will require a minimum subscription of two years as a service. Otherwise TRiplogik will require a $40 service fee for the transfer or ownership.
