ERROR MESSAGE
Unable to assign instrument with serial number "TL10000xxxxxxxxx" as it is already assigned to another user.
if you already registered the instrument before , please reuse the same email account.

Cannot add instrument . impossible to add instrument

How it works
When you register the Manager application, it uses your email as your account ID

Any instrument you add to your account will make it yours only.
This is preventing anyone from using your instrument with their account to spy or reuse a lost or stolen instrument.

Your privacy is protected as long as you dont give anyone access to your PC and your account login

Situation 1

If you install the Manager again on a new PC or a second PC and don’t reuse the same user name, This is a new account,
therefore, you will not be able add your instrument as it is already registered to an other other.

The server had obviously no way to know you have created a new accounts that you own.

If you mistakenly open a new account, you can use the "Fresh Start" procedure in the link below.

See fresh start and backup utility instructions here

NOTE :

Uninstalling the Manager and reinstalling it it again will not work.

If you sell or purchase an instrument

Situation 2

You just purchased or were given a used instrument from someone.

You created a new account with the Manager application, and tried to add the instrument.
The error message is letting you know the instrument is already registered.

The reason is this instrument is still registered into the original owners account.

What can you do?

A ) Ask this person to open HIS Manager application and tell him ,
1- Go into the instruments menu

2- Select the serial number of the instrument from the list
3- Click delete the instrument button then YES, and OK

This will remove the instrument from his account

The person doesn't have the Manager application anymore, what can I do?

B)  Ask this person to open a ticket to contact us and must let us know.

 - what instrument serial number to remove

 - open the ticket with the email he used for his account ( so we can ID the owner)

 - Let us know who the instrument was sold or given to

Once we get the information, it will be verified , and the instrument will be released from his account to be reused into a different one.
