The password not only protects you from anyone seeking to spy on you or find out where you have been, without your consent, but it also encrypts all the data inside by using your password as a key.

Your instrument’s password is NOT the same as the Manager’s login password.

The instrument password is stored in the instrument memory.

If you have already used a previous version and have configured a password, chances are,

that you checked the  "Do not ask for a password again" function.

For this reason, you may believe that you have never configured a password.

If you are now reusing the instrument with the new software, this application will ask you for the instrument’s password because it's in the instrument’s memory and the new software never received it from you to verify its validity.

A person who would like to use your instrument without your password cannot read the data.

IMPORTANT NOTE

DO NOT CHANGE PASSWORD WITH the old version of the Manager

you will lose all your data

Please ask for a password restore
