Places are added automatically in the Manager according to the Origin or the Destination
If you would like to add places in advance with you own definition and radius you can use the Manual trip menu
Adding a place
1) Click On the Manual Trip menu
2) In this window , select the Add manual place ( bottom left )
In the Manual place
1) Enter the known address of the place
2) Click on locate Address
3) check and adjust the radius of the place accordingly
4) Click on Add place
Redefine the precise position of the place
1) You can move the blue marker to potentially place it in the center of the effective place where you would potentially park.
2) You can make the perimeter (radius) larger or smaller using the Radius editor icon.
Define a place default category
In the place editor, you can assign a category to this place
The next time you will go to this destination, the category of the trip will be automatically defined according to this preset, whether you pressed the instrument button or not .
Edit place description
By default a place is always defined by the address found on the Triplogik Map server.
The description is also the same.
If you would like to give this place a different name like the client's name, or a specific site name, you can edit the Description.
We don't suggest you change the Address field as this is should always be the GPS reference for this place.
If you were to redo a Geocoding, the address will revert back to the GPS, and you will lose the description you modified.
